1991.09-1995.07，中國地質大學（武漢）本科學習， 1995年獲理學學士學位。
1995.08-2000.10，中國科學院地球化學研究所碩士-博士連讀，2000年獲理學博士學位。其間，1999.09-1999.12在奧地利科學院湖泊研究所訪問研究。
2000.10-2004.11，中國科學院地球化學研究所環境地球化學國家重點實驗室副研究員。其間，2001.06-2003.05，中國科學院地球化學研究所教育處處長；2003.03-2003.05香港大學訪問研究；2003.06起任中國科學院地球化學研究所科技處處長。
2004.11-2010.06，中國科學院地球化學研究所環境地球化學國家重點實驗室研究員、科技處處長。其間，2006年被聘為博士研究生導師；2007.11-2007.12俄羅斯科學院地質與礦物研究所訪問研究。
